The Good Neighbor Project of Greenville is guided by a board of neighbors who bring a variety of experiences, perspectives, and a shared commitment to our community. Together, they help steward our mission, strengthen our partnerships, and ensure our work remains thoughtful, responsible, and rooted in dignity and belonging.
Sandra Edwards
Sandra Edwards serves as Board Chair of The Good Neighbor Project. As a longtime volunteer at Jesus House and a resident of West Greenville, Sandra brings valuable firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the neighborhood. Her insight helps ensure that the organization’s work remains rooted in relationships and responsive to the community’s needs.

Walter Strathy
Walter Strathy brings many years of nonprofit leadership experience and a longstanding connection to West Greenville. He helped establish the original activities at Jesus House. His experience and guidance strengthen the Good Neighbor Project’s organizational development, strategic planning, and implementation of programs that advance its mission.
Vice Chair
Mark McDowelle is a longtime volunteer at Jesus House and a founding member of the Good Neighbor Project. Before the organization was formally established, he participated in the early conversations that shaped its mission, vision, and direction. Mark brings valuable experience, along with a genuine understanding of the West Greenville neighborhood and the people who call it home.

Aaron Saufley has served the West Greenville community for more than 15 years. His experience in ministry helps guide the mission-centered work of Jesus House, and he played an important role in shaping the principles at the heart of the Good Neighbor Project: dignity, respect, and authentic relationships within the community. Aaron serves on the Board of Directors.

Jason Cone has partnered with Jesus House to serve breakfast for more than six years and is a founding member of the Good Neighbor Project. He works alongside the board to develop programs and support the administrative work that keeps the organization moving forward.
